Sitting atop a table, dresser, or on a bookshelf, this cherry lantern provides a warm, subtle, and diffuse light. The four sides have the same pattern of openings, while the top is entirely the small, square openings. The lantern is lined with shoji paper, and lifts off the base. There is a recess in the base for a 3 in. diameter LED light (provided, with remote) that runs on 3 AA batteries (not provided). In my home, we use a pair of these lanterns as accent lighting, and in the bedroom as a night light.
The first batch of lanterns ship on March 13, 2026.
